My name is Eddie Scheidler, and I am passionate about pursuing the following careers:

I am a member of the Notre Dame Football team, a proud Chicagoan at heart, and soon-to-be Double-Domer with an unwavering love for storytelling. Amidst the highs and lows of college football, a season-ending injury, which shattered my athletic aspirations, became the catalyst for uncovering my life’s true calling—one that all began by holding a tiny mic in my hand.

From creating and hosting my own social media segment, “Eddie on Eddy St.”, via the Notre Dame Football team’s platform, to writing, directing, and producing the end-of-season football award show with approximately 500 attendees, to serving as a student ambassador with NBC Sports Athlete Direct, to conducting campus-wide live interviews for Notre Dame’s “Notre Dame Day”, and to working as an analyst, broadcaster, and color commentator for Fighting Irish Media through their coverage of Notre Dame athletic events on ESPN, ACC Network, and NBC Sports, my passion for sports media, film, and broadcasting has found diverse expressions and avenues.

 

Overall, what I embody is dedication, hard work, and a relentless passion for sports media, film, and broadcasting. As a former Notre Dame football player, I bring motivation, discipline, and hard work cultivated through years of commitment. I am eager to channel these attributes into a dynamic role within the world of sports media, broadcasting, and film.
